Egyptian Embassy in Tashkent 2005 - Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Our standing of the nature of the embassy building as a logical set of spaces whereby the functional level sets precedence for an architectural design requires awareness of the meaning of the embassy itself. However, it is equally paramount to identify the range of special events that are likely to take place in this building. Our concept is to design a building that can host both functional administrative daily events and also accommodate ceremonial events. the formal function is represented through the spatial formal or informal, a programmatic representation of this notion must be evident in the architectural language.
