Our understanding of the nature of the embassy building as a logical set of spaces whereby the functional level sets precedence to an architectural design requires awareness of the meaning of the embassy itself.

the formal function is represented through the spatial organization; however regardless of the formal nature of the event taking place, wether formal or informal, a programatic representation of this notion must be evident in the architectural language.
