Egyptian architect, academic and theoretician, Prof Abdelhalim Ibrahim founder of community design collaborative and a recipient of many awards including the Egyptian Merit Award, Aga Khan award for Architecture, Tamayouz Lifetime achievement award died at the age of 80. His impact and influence, which extends beyond built projects, remains and carried with his students and his work will be marked for generations to come. He will always be remembered through the great work he left behind.
